WHO ARE WE?

What libertarianism is to politics, Grail theology is to religion: the emphasis on free moral agency, personal liberty, and the spiritual quest which each of us is called to make.  The legends of the Holy Grail represent a folk expression of the primitive religion of the medieval, underground church. These hidden Christians were known by ancient Church historians as "the Desposyni" (des-po-seen-ee): signifying that they were the Lord's kinsmen. Their theology was encrypted in the Grail Romances and survives today in some branches of Celtic Christianity. The Church of the Grail is a religious order which operates within the Cambrian Episcopal tradition (the tradition of pre-Medieval Wales). It has no regular clergy nor does it provide religious gatherings which require attendance. However, we are a completed Church in liturgy, doctrine, and government which offers a mentoring ministry and a spiritual discipline that can be practiced at home.
